Q: Why can't I buy some Syd Mead books?

A: All Syd Mead publications are limited edition prints. Some books are published through joint-ventures with other companies. Therefore it is vitally important that you purchase any and all books that are available today to ensure you fill your collectors edition library of Syd Mead publications before each book runs out of stock. Currently all Syd Mead books are out of stock from Syd Mead Inc.

Q: Is KRONOLOG offered on DVD? Instead of LaserDisc?

A: No. KRONOLOG was a limited edition set published in Japan with no plans to remaster onto DVD. A typical practice is to purchase the LaserDisc version and migrate a personal copy to VHS for viewing on other mediums. We strongly believe that this rare step-by-step footage of Syd illustrating and painting the front cover of Kronoteko is one of the most valuable assets for any serious Syd Mead collector.

Q: I received two emails confirming my order. Was that intentional?

A: No. What probably happen was that you pressed the Place Book Order button twice. Even though your web page did not update, your order was placed in the background. If this has happen, use our Web Request Form, and we will confirm with you that we understand there was only one order. Identical orders placed minutes apart are usually ignored and only processed once.
